Kate Pietrowski, RN, L.AcKate Pietrowski, RN is a holistic health practitioner/acupuncturist who has an office in the Suburbs of Philadelphia (minutes away from the Mainline and Lafayette Hill).  In addition to her clinical practice, Kate is a health, fitness, and wellness consultant and an expert in food allergies.  She advises camps, schools, and educational organizations on food safety and also provides staff training and education on food allergies.

Kate has been helping people get healthy, overcome debilitating conditions like migraines and back pain, and is an amazing resource for finding research based health solutions to often complex problems.  Many patients seek Kate’s help after conventional medicine has either failed to help them or isn’t providing adequate relief from their health problems.



Kate’s education includes a degree in nursing, completion of a 3 year Masters level program in Chinese Medicine, and many years of continuing education course work.  She has studied health, fitness, herbal medicine, and holistic health since the early 1990s.  Kate has taken course work with Jim Duke, Jeffery Blan, Dr Hymen, Dr Low Dog, David Winston, Ann Marie Olgan, Anthony Carey, and too many more to list here.

Nursing Experience:

Kate has over 20 years experience as a nurse working in mental health, women’s health, rheumatology, cardiology, addictions, and internal medicine.  Some of the hospitals she has worked in include University of Pennsylvania, Friends Hospital, and Penn Presbyterian Hospital.


Kate began her fitness career teaching group fitness classes in the 1990’s and continued her passion for fitness working as a personal trainer at a number of facilities which include the FBI’s fitness center in Chicago.  While Kate no longer has time to train individuals, she does continue to teach group fitness (specifically Zumba) at the Fairmount Athletic Club and several other facilities around the area.


Kate lives in King of Prussia with her husband and 10 year old daughter.  Aside from her passion for helping her patients get better and promoting health and wellness, Kate spends considerable time in her garden and taking walks in the Wissahickon or Valley Forge Parks.  She is also very active in the community where she is on the board for the environmental advisory committee and belongs to the optimist club.
